Every Saturday night we wage a fierce battle during the Slaughterhouse entitled the the Metal Meltdown. We take 2 bands, musicians or songs, pit them against each other and YOU decide the winner by casting your vote! This week's battle puts 2 great songs against each other from one of the classic metal albums of the 80's.

Although the band has had a lot of turmoil recently, Queensryche's 1988 album, Operation Mindcrime, was quite arguably one the greatest rock albums of the 80's. The concept album was a story that centers around a drug addict who falls in love with a former prostitute turned nun. Together, they uncover a dangerous underground movement and proceed to try and stop it before it's too late.

2 of the classic hits off that album 'Eyes of a Stranger' and 'I Don't Believe in Love' go head-to-head in this week's Metal Meltdown matchup.

Here's 'Eyes of a Stranger'
and the opponent, "I Don't Believe in Love'

Vote for your favorite now! Vote early and often for which song you want to win. Voting ends next Saturday at 7pm.
