We continue to see summer events get cancelled, but there are still a few things that you can do at the Jersey Shore!

Long Beach Township on Long Beach Island is still hosting weekly Fire Pit Fridays every Friday for the rest of the summer, right up until Labor Day Weekend.

You can bring the whole family out, take your blankets or beach chairs, pack a cooler with food and drinks, and enjoy FREE live music with the ambience of firepits on the beach. Now, social distancing rules will obviously still apply between groups, but not between individuals. Masks will be required on the 68th Street walkway.

Here's the lineup of performers for the rest of the summer:

July 31st Jimmy Brogan
August 7th Jimmy Merchant Music
August 14th The Tommy Allen Band
August 21st The Verdict
August 28th The Ned Ryerson Band
September 4th Sneak Attack!

Hey, check out August 28th - it's 105.7 the Hawk's 2016 "Best Bar Band at the Jersey Shore" winners Ned Ryerson & The Groundhogs! See why they were chosen the Jersey Shore's best bar band!

The concerts are obviously dependent on the weather, so you can get any updates if you check out the Facebook Event Page.

It might not be the summer that any of us wanted or were planning for, but it's nice to have at least a few fun events to look forward to, and give us at least a little tiny bit of normalcy.
