Do It Duo For Pets Visited the Hawk’s Nest [VIDEO]

Another one of the casualties after Hurricane Sandy was all the displaced pets and animals. Animal shelters were overwhelmed with the amount of animals that came in days following Hurricane Sandy. The cost to run, and maintain the animal shelters financially went through the roof.

Lucy age 11, and Alex age 10, felt the need to do something. They needed to help They started an organization "Do It Duo For Pets". They started raising money for the animal shelters and collecting donations to bring to the shelters as well.

Mike Schwartz of Hometown Heroes brought the girls by the Hawk Studios to talk about what they do.
