Bill Nye the Science Guy Reads Mean Tweets About Himself [Video]

Inventor, entertainer and beloved science guy Bill Nye is often remembered for the educational television series played in most middle school science classrooms when the teacher was feeling a little lazy.

With all of his accomplishments and accolades, you better believe Bill has some haters. In this video, Bill Nye reads mean tweets and responds to such rude comments in a way only The Science Guy would – “I’m sorry you’re cluttering up the internet.”

Nye has continued to educate the nation through other forms of entertainment for many years since his show ended, as well as maintaining memberships in multiple scientific organizations and societies. He holds several U.S. patents for things such as educational magnifying glass and ballet shoes. He’s also appeared as a guest on many television programs including Larry King Live and Dancing with the Stars.
