Battle River Brewing in Downtown Toms River Opens This Weekend

It's been a long time coming for the opening of Battle River Brewing at 69 Main Street in Downtown Toms River.

I'm sure the Coronavirus pandemic has held things up, but Battle River Brewing will be celebrating their official grand opening on Friday, August 14th

According to their website, Battle River Brewing will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 5p-9p.

It's just what Downtown Toms River needs...New businesses to attract more people downtown on weekends and evenings just like they have in Red Bank, Freehold, and Asbury Park. I know it's going to take a while, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Battle River Brewing has a cool little outdoor patio so they can still serve their customers while maintaining social distancing mandates.

Just a few months ago, Garden State Distillery opened on Washington Street in Downtown Toms River. They have a great selection of vodka and whiskey drinks to enjoy

They have been a great addition to Downtown Toms River especially during Downtown Night Out where a section of Washington Street is closed to traffic so the restaurants like Capone's, Daddio's, and Crave can set up tables so customers can dine outdoors
