The endless construction at the intersection of Route 37 and Route 166 has claimed another victim: Schusters Car Wash.

The restaurant "Shut Up & Eat" has complained about losing business due to the ongoing construction and detours preventing customers from going out to eat. Now, a different obstacle is being faced, one that is devastating for a car wash.

When owner Larry Schuster got to work yesterday to open the car wash, he turned on the water to discover the pipes were dry. Workers switched the water pipes, but apparently just forgot to turn it back on. Once Schuster realized what had happened, he sent his employees home and closed up for the day.

Supposedly the DOT will be trying to speed things up and finish this project, but it can't hurt to continue to contact your local representatives and make your voice heard!
