The excitement of whale and dolphin sightings continues up and down the Jersey Shore this summer. The latest sighting happened yesterday off the beach in Manasquan around 1:30 in the afternoon. Lifeguards were sitting high atop their lifeguard chair where the noticed some activity happening a few hundred yards offshore...

I thought I heard rumors about this a few weeks ago, but I guess it is true that beach towns up and down the Jersey Shore are hoping to extend the summer season due to the shortened season at the beaches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seaside Heights officials are looking to keep lifeguards on the beaches after Labor Day Weekend and even possibly through mid-October...

A swimming advisory has been issued for three beaches in Ocean County due to elevated levels of bacteria in the water.
