It wasn't long ago that many of us were laughing at the Rt. 35 ShopRite and Dunkin' feud. It was hilarious and totally ridiculous all at the same time. I had a blast writing that March 31st article and I greatly appreciate the positive feedback from many of you! So what now? What's going on? It's been over a month since I wrote that article so I think it's time you get a much-needed Rt. 35 update...

If you are going to be driving in Ocean County this weekend, you better be careful. Law enforcement is conducting roving DUI checkpoints on Route 35 and 37 starting Friday, March 9. According to Jersey Shore Online, The boundaries will be Route 35 from Seaside Park Borough to Point Pleasant Beach and Route 37 from Seaside Heights to Manchester Township...

According to the D.O.T, All Route 35 travel lanes in Ocean County will be open this summer. We all know too well that Rt 35 in Seaside Park has been an absolute disaster, as well as the stretch of Rt 35 from Ortley Beach to Bayhead .
