Restore The Shore

This Saturday 4/26, be part of hundreds of volunteers helping to plant Dune Grass in Island Beach State Park. Take part between 10a-1p in planting over 40,000 American Beachgrass plants to help solidify the sand dunes. Participants will meet at Ocean Bathing Area 1, which is the most popular and visible area at the park in Ocean County.

Toms River officials are asking residents who had a freshly cut Christmas Tree (NOT fake ones) this year for the holidays to not throw it out with the trash, but to please donate it to Ortley Beach to help rebuild the dunes along the beach
