Ocean County officials have scheduled a series of household waste collection dates where you can head to certain DPW locations and dispose of things like old paint, pesticides, toilet cleaners and pool chemicals.

The Township of Toms River has received a $183,933.00 grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to help implement and further enhance recycling efforts.

This past winter has certainly taken a toll on our roads. It seems like there are potholes everywhere. I don't remember it being this bad in years past. It must be bad if the Public Works Department is asking for our help.
