Fire broke out in the third floor of an apartment inside a building on Astor Street in Newark around 1:30 a.m. trapping two children in a room, fire officials told ABC 7 Eyewitness News.

New Jersey health officials are warning that a person with measles visited in late March, possibly exposing many others to the virus including at Newark Airport.

Under current NJ state law a juvenile age 14 and under cannot under any circumstances be waived up to be charged as adult.
