Movember

Each year at this time the Harvey Cedars Police Department led by Chief Robert Burnaford put the razors down and not only raise awareness of the causes this month but also collect donations for a worthy cause.

November 1 came with a story and another on November 2 on why men grow facial hair during the month of November and it's to raise support for those men battling the fight of their life in cancer or a mental health disorder.

Many men have been growing out their facial hair, no matter how it looks (like me) and walking around with all kinds of beards but for a good cause.

Guys, sad news: It's December. That means Movember is over and it's time to get rid of that upper-lip caterpillar that you've been growing for the last month.

Every November, thousands of men in the US and around the world, grow a mustache or “mo”  to raise money funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
