Manasquan Inlet

The Coast Guard was called about a crew member aboard a fishing vessel who was exericening severe abdominal pain and needed to be medevacked from the boat which was at the time 50 miles off Manasquan Inlet.

The woman needed medical attention when she was airlifted from the Norwegian Cruise ship Sunday night, authorities said.

Due to the weather we've been having lately, dredging work from the Manasquan Inlet to the Barnegat Inlet was put on hold last week and won't be resumed until the weather permits.

A local EMS volunteer spotted the whale feeding off the Manasquan Inlet and took some awesome pix!
