Sooo I was at Martell's in Point Pleasant Beach for Tiki Monday...HAHA! You know it's going to be an interesting story when that's the opening sentence.

A fun fact that many people don't know about me is that I love pelicans. Believe it or not, I collect pelican paintings, sculptures, and other pelican memorabilia. My love for the bird started when I was living on the beaches of Carolina. I can't really pinpoint why I like them so much, I just think they are unique and that they live a sweet beach life. Pelicans are definitely my spirit animal!

Doing LIVE broadcasts at Bar Anticipation every Saturday afternoon has been one of the highlights of my summer. It's nothing but an awesome experience. We are always on Grotto Beach partying with Miller Lite from 4-6 pm. The Bar A staff is great to work with, the Miller Lite swag we offer is one of a kind, and there really is nothing better than hanging out with 94.3 The Point listeners.

My alarm went off at 4:30 am, I think I clicked the snooze button a few times but going back to sleep was not an option. I rolled out of bed and forced myself to experience a beautiful morning in Belmar.

My internet must be spotty because I am getting zero Bumble matches. I don't know what's going on, this is getting embarrassing! Maybe my internet is perfectly fine? Haha! I recently downloaded Bumble, just because, and I am having no luck. I am literally hearing crickets every time I open the app.

So... Are people at the Jersey Shore drinking too much?

Just in case you didn't know, Townsquare Media Jersey Shore operates 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, Beach Radio 104.1 FM, 105.7 The Hawk, and Shore Sports Network. It wasn't long ago all five brands hosted a family fun night at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. It was great being out on the boardwalk with my fellow employees, their families, and all of our loyal listeners.

The other day I found myself taking shots at Martell's Tiki Bar. I have a unique work schedule so I took advantage of Tiki Monday. It was the first time I ever experienced a Tiki Monday and it did not disappoint. It was honestly the most fun I had all summer. The crowd was wild and very interesting. Luckily, I went with a friend who also had the day off from work.

Rather than me saying this place is a total disaster, I'm going to get creative and say that this is the Jersey Shore's best place to film a zombie apocalypse movie. At the very least, the writers of the Walking Dead could easily film a TV episode at this Jersey Shore location.

Before being shocked by the tornado alert, I was in the midst of a very strange dream. I won't use names, but I was attending a good friend's wedding. This friend plans to get married in real life next year...

As I was making my way to Kelly's, I drove past the "tornado" hotel, also known as America's Best Value Inn. To be honest, this Jersey Shore eyesore made my hangover feel even worse.
