UFC 211 takes place this Saturday Night live from Dallas, Texas and Frankie Edgar is ready to take on Yair Rodriquez. 24 year-old Rodriquez is considered a rising star in The UFC with a 10-1 record. Toms River native Frankie Edgar who is 6-1 in his last seven fights is showing no signs of slowing down with an overall record of 21-5-1 at age 34.

For the last few weeks, we've been highlighting how Toms River native Frankie Edgar has been keeping it local in preparation for one of the biggest mixed martial arts events in recent memory, UFC 205.  With the card just days away, we finish our series by focusing on Edgar's thoughts preceding this historic event.

Last week, we told you how Frankie Edgar was getting ready for his upcoming fight on one of the biggest stages in the world: Madison Square Garden.  For Edgar, fight camp isn't the only thing he does close to home.  As we found out in our 2nd installment of our 3-part series, the Toms River East graduate is proud of his hometown, and is more than happy to give back.

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie 'The Answer' Edgar is just weeks away from fighting on perhaps the biggest mixed martial arts card to date and the first of its kind at historic Madison Square Garden: UFC 205.  Luckily for Edgar, the Toms River native isn't traveling far to compete, or to train.
