A forgotten Asbury Park Ferris wheel is being rebuilt in Phoenixville, PA, uncovering an unexpected connection between the Jersey Shore and a small Pennsylvania steel town.
I was in Seaside Heights last night, and I noticed that the new Ferris Wheel at Casino Pier was all lit up. I shot some video. It looks really cool. Enjoy!

No word when the new Ferris Wheel and Hydrus roller coaster will be open for riders. Both rides still need to go through state inspection, testing, and training but this past weekend, the Ferris wheel put on a little show.
