The New York Yankees have stepped forward and offered to pay for drug treatment for Dwight Gooden. Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry have been in the news quite a bit lately since the ESPN 30/30 documentary "Doc and Darryl" aired a few months ago spotlighting their careers and their well documented drug use...

Over the weekend, former baseball player Darryl Strawberry came out in the media and said he was concerned about Dwight Gooden's drug addiction after Gooden missed a appearance. Gooden wasn't happy about what was said.

Saturday morning, decked out in our Temple gear, my husband and I made the trek to Philadelphia's Independence Hall to experience ESPN's College Gameday.

I have to admit, I don't watch wrestling anymore, but back in the day I was a HUGE fan. From the days of Bob Backlund to the NWO and everything in between, I was right there every single week! So I am super excited (and you should be too) that coming to ESPN is "E:60-WWE: Behind the Curtain"

On Friday, New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick was a guest on ESPN's "Mike & Mike" radio show with co-hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic. Since it was Halloween, both hosts were in costume.

Unless you have been living under a rock the last 24 hours, you have probably heard by now that the Baltimore Ravens terminated Ray Rice's contract and the NFL suspended him indefinitely after TMZ released the video of Rice punching his wife in the face in a casino elevator back in February.

The bummer of live television is that, well, it's LIVE. There's not really much flexibility when it comes to the schedules that the networks have to keep. So, when you're on, you're ON.

With 4th of July just a couple days away, ESPN featured a 7 minute segment last night honoring the soldiers, and capturing the moments they come home to surprise their kids. A video of Mike Rice, Head Coach of Men's Basketball at Rutgers has been released to ESPN showing him screaming and berating his players. The video also shows him physically pushing and kicking them. Even throwing basketballs at their head. Rice was suspended back in December for what was described as "inappropriate behavior and language" between the coach and his players.

Todd Frazier, Third Baseman for the Cincinnati Reds and Toms River resident has spent this off-season helping out in the relief effort to help out people who have lost so much from Superstorm Sandy.
