Drug trafficking

There are 12 people behind bars and one currently on the run but all facing decades in prison for their roles in a massive drug trafficking operation that also included firearms offenses.

It was the Scarface kind of haul for the U.S. Coast Guard during a 72-day patrol in the Caribbean Sea.

A Mount Holly man is looking at anywhere between 10-years and the rest of his life in prison after being charged with allegedly trafficking more than 3-kilograms of methamphetamine as well as illegally possessing unregistered firearms as a previously convicted felon.

Two New Jersey men, including one from Monmouth County, have admitted to their roles in a drug trafficking conspiracy that distributed large amounts of heroin and cocaine in the Bayshore region.
