The snow continues to fall, winds are picking up and roads are nearly impossible to navigate to start the day on Saturday as a Blizzard barrels its way across the state of New Jersey.
Weather can be very unpredictable and while it's been a while since parts of the state, especially many Shore areas, have seen a good 3-4 foot snowy blizzard, there is more than just that kind of storm to prepare for this winter in what are a lot of unknowns.
When you look outside the leftovers from that early January blizzard are still on the ground, but the cost of cleanup for Ocean County roads from that storm may surprise you.
Roads are treacherous and visibility is even worse which is why Toms River Police and every other agency continues stressing to motorists the message of staying off the roads during the storm today.
As snow conditions continue to worsen well into the afternoon today with this January Blizzard officials across the Shore are updating us on what's going on out there.
At the moment, Ocean County seems to have dodged the snow from Winter Storm Stella and got hit with a wintry mix. Share pix of your neighborhood, let us know how it looks in your area!
Even if it's more of a "wintry mix" day, a lot of schools and businesses were closed - if you don't know how to spend the time, we've got some suggestions.
