Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary

As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.

Over the last week in Ocean County there have been positive cases 11,089 as of Friday afternoon August 28, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past week:

Saturday August 22: 30 new cases reported bringing total to 10,891.
Sunday August 23 : 13 new cases reported bringing total to 10,904.
Monday August 24 : 31 new cases reported bringing total to 10,935.
Tuesday August 25: 44 new cases reported bringing total to 10,979.
Wednesday August 26: 45 new cases reported bringing total to 11,024.
Thursday August 27: 36 new cases reported bringing total to 11,060.
Friday August 28: 29 new cases reported bringing total to 11,089.

Over the last week in Monmouth County there have been 11,299 positive cases as of Friday afternoon August 28, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and since cases began being reported in March of 2020.
