In a live, on-air interview this past Friday, April 11, 2025 (on WPG Talk Radio 95.5), Atlantic City, New Jersey Councilman George Tibbitt brought-up the issue of beach concerts that are currently happening directly adjacent to the Ocean Club Condominiums.

Tibbitt advised that “residents of the Ocean Club Condominiums are not happy about this … nor, the parties that continue all night long,” said Tibbitt.

Tibbitt estimates that about 15,000 to 20,000 people are attending the beach concerts.

Tibbitt said that the current approved permits allow for 750 people to attend the beach concert events.

Tibbitt has provided us with photographs of the “rogue” beach concerts (see below).

The photos were taken from high above the Ocean Club Condominiums.

Tibbitt made it clear, that he does not oppose Atlantic City beach concerts. He’s a big fan of those that are held in non-residential areas.

Tibbitt is not in favor of the current location that directly affects thousands of local residents, who are currently dealing with the noise, crowds and late evening parties that are taking place.

Tibbitt indicated on-air that the permit holder enjoys a  positive working relationship with Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.

Tibbitt expressed his concerns that taxpayers are having to deal with this type of event happening right outside of their own front doors.”
