Thx 4 The Memories! Beloved Brewery Now Closed In Rio Grande, NJ
Let's face it, nobody likes it when one of their favorite businesses has to close up shop. It's even more upsetting when it's a small business that's closing its doors.
Unfortunately, the folks that were hopelessly devoted to 7 Mile Brewing Company in Rio Grande, Cape May County, experienced just that this week. It's with a heavy heart that we share that 7 Mile Brewing has officially closed their doors for good. Such a bummer.
For some people, that was their ultimate spot. It's so sad when your favorite hang-out closes up for good. People have already expressed how much they'll miss the place in the comments on Instagram.
7 Mile shared an official post to their IG thanking everybody for their patronage and support over the years. What was really beautiful about the post was the way they thanked each and every person that was responsible for the brewery's success. For a while, it really was a staple within the craft beer-loving community down there. Not only did they thank their customers, but they also thanked their brewmasters and front-of-house staff for all of their hard work and dedication since the place opened back in 2016.
The bright side of 7 Mile closing its doors is that the owners just wanted to retire. Pete and Claudia, the beloved owners and showrunners of 7 Mile Brewing Company, are ready for a slower pace. Can you blame them? Absolutely not.
They invited everybody out for one last drink this week and as of Monday, May 15th, they've officially closed up shop.
