A Long Island, New York man avoids serious injury after his vehicle was hit by an intoxicated driver from Sicklerville on Saturday afternoon, around 2:50 pm, in the Farmington section of Egg Harbor Township.
Ian Kulis, 27, was driving westbound in a 2019 Dodge Ram pick-up truck on Delilah Road when he veered into oncoming traffic, ran a red light at Fire Road and then struck a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 57-year-old Michael Connolly and heading southbound at the time, according to Egg Harbor Police who investigated the scene and spoke with witnesses.
Police said that Connolly and his passengers suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene and that they didn't need to be brought to the hospital.

The on-scene investigation led police to believe that Kulis may be impaired and that later led to his arrest and charges for multiple motor vehicle violations, including driving while intoxicated, as well as assault by auto.
He was later released from police custody.
