It is looking like a good portion of New Jersey is going to see snow as we start a new week on Monday. It looks like South Jersey will see more snow than North Jersey. Snow can begin falling sometime between late Sunday Night and early Monday Morning. Portions of Burlington and Ocean County could see up to 8 inches. Some counties further south could see more snow accumulation.

Governor Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency in several New Jersey counties. According to NJ.com, "The state of emergency includes Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties, effective at 10 p.m."

Some portions of the Garden State are under a Winter Weather Advisory and officials are asking the public to help by making sure their vehicles are safe and sound. Officials are reminding residents that they can help by moving their vehicles out of the streets to allow for snow plows to pass. The easier it is to plow streets the quicker they can get done and we can get back to driving.

According to Patch, "Snow accumulation is expected across New Jersey south of Interstate 195, the weather service said. Winds are expected to stay below 20 mph throughout the storm, the forecast said."

So tonight before you retire for the evening check on your vehicles and see if they are off the street and if not try and move them safely out of the roadway, if possible.
