Delicious! New Jersey’s Tastiest Italian Food Reviewed

Everyone loves a delicious Italian meal. Probably the most popular style of food in America and around the world is "Italian". It was always a good night when you would have spaghetti for dinner. It seemed growing up maybe once a week or two it would be spaghetti night and everyone always enjoyed it. When it was spaghetti night there was a nice loaf of garlic bread on the side to go with it. Delicious memories and to this day it's always a nice night when it's "spaghetti night" whether at home or at a nice restaurant.

According to a recent Lovefood article, they surveyed the best Italian restaurants in America. Lovefood selected a Middlesex County restaurant to represent the Garden State. Lovefood chooses Catherine Lombardi's in New Brunswick. "This restaurant is named after owner Mark Pascal’s grandmother, who came to the US from Naples. The menu is based on her recipes and customers love the cozy atmosphere as well as the garlic bread; spinach and mushroom ravioli, and fried calamari with sweet and spicy marinara."

According to the Catherine Lombardi website "Our restaurants have always been greenmarket-driven and seasonal, celebrating the best of what’s local. We’ve always sought out estate-bottled wines from small producers, beer and spirits from craftsmen, and made great cocktails with fresh ingredients from scratch.  We were among the first restaurants in the state to follow these principles and we are as passionate about them today as we were back in the early 90s."
