When NFL writers were asked which stadium is the worst in the country, MetLife was on top of the list.

Last year, The Athletic did an anonymous poll asking NFL writers which is the best and worst venue in the league, and the news wasn't good for the stadium that both the Jets and Giants call home.

MetLife Is Ranked One Of The Worst Venues

While the New Jersey venue was not ranked dead last, it came very close. Only six stadiums ranked worse.

So, why is MetLife only ranked 25th in the nation for stadiums? There's more than just one reason.

Here are some of the reasons reporters aren't fans of MetLife Stadium. First of all, it's just plain boring.

If boredom makes you hungry, you're in for some bad news. The reviews on the food offered at the stadium are less than complimentary.

Some other criticisms are that it is in the middle of nowhere and that once you finally get there, it is nearly impossible to get in and out of.

If you're feeling bad that the home of your favorite football team is hated, it may make you feel better to know there are worse stadiums on the list.

The Caesars Superdome (New Orleans Saints), Paycor Stadium (Cincinnati Bengals), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Dolphins) TIAA Bank Field (Jacksonville Jaguars), and FedEx Field (Washington Commanders) all rank as worse stadiums than MetLife.
