Since we're all traveling again, and believe it or not, Spring Break is not too far away, I thought these super-smart travel hacks needed to be known.

Have you ever been in a hotel room and used the safe only to realize that you left your most valuable stuff in it?  A family member of mine actually got on his plane and was in the air when he realized that he did just that. Leave it to a flight attendant to give us the most sensible travel tips ever!

This TikTok lifehack expert and flight attendant recommends always leaving a shoe in your safe.

What?

You are probably wondering why and the answer is pretty simple. When you are packing up you will most likely miss the other shoe if you brought multiple pairs or if you only brought one pair you will need them to go outside the hotel.  Placing something that you need to leave in the safe is a great way to never leave your valuables by mistake again.

This is genius!

What are some other travel hacks?  Glad you asked, @esthersturrus has lots of them on TikTok! Want to keep your toothbrush clean?  Want to instantly de-fog your mirror?  Need to keep your business clothing wrinkle-free without ironing?  Here you go!

Want to keep your hotel room nice and dark? Need a phone charger but don't have an international converter? Need to keep your shoes from getting your clothes dirty in your suitcase? How about one for the germ-a-phobes...never touch a hotel remote control again!

It takes an observant flight attendant to school us on such things, thanks girl!

Doing some traveling?  Here are the best beach towns in America!

LOOK: See America's 50 Best Beach Towns

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
