I think we all can remember growing up and on occasion enjoying a "Happy Meal". The fun kids' meal at McDonald's was introduced in the summer of 1979. I was 14 years old so I'm sure I grabbed a few when they came out. I remember my kids enjoying, especially collecting the special toy enclosed. We still have a box of never opened vintage Happy Meal toys from the 90s. I probably should go through these you never know what might be collectibles.

Fast forward 43 years and we see that McDonald's is reimagining the "Happy Meal". Beginning October 3rd, next Monday, McDonald's will introduce the "Grown Up" Happy Meal. First, let's see what the new "Happy Meal" is.

According to NJ.COM, "The Happy Meal-style offering comes with a choice of either a Big Mac or 10-piece McNuggets with fries, a drink and one of four classic figurines." The new "Grown Up Happy Meal" will be for a limited time from October 3rd through October 30th.

In addition, the Grown Up Happy Meals will include "The figurines include McDonald’s classic mascots, which include the Hamburglar, Grimace and Birdie, as well as a new character named Cactus Buddy."

I am pretty sure I's grab one of these to see what's inside and of course grab one of the limited edition figurines for fun. I'm also sure I wouldn't make a habit of it lol but for fun, I'd explore a Big Mac Happy Meal, why not it will bring me back in time :)
