In Ocean County there have been 8,527 positive cases as of Friday morning May 29 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Friday May 22: 95 new cases reported bringing total to 8,242.
  • Saturday May 23: 19 new cases reported bringing total to 8,261.
  • Sunday May 24: 60 new cases reported bringing total to 8,318.
  • Monday May 25: 49 new cases reported bringing total to 8,367.
  • Tuesday May 26: 83 new cases reported bringing total to 8,401.
  • Wednesday May 27: 65 new cases reported bringing total to 8,466.
  • Thursday May 28: 56 new cases reported bringing total to 8,527.
  • Cases this week: 427

In Monmouth County there have been 8,103 positive cases as of Friday morning May 29 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

  • Friday May 22: 65 new cases reported bringing total to 7,724.
  • Saturday May 23: 30 new cases reported bringing total to 7,754.
  • Sunday May 24: 105 new cases reported brining total to 7,859.
  • Monday May 25: 25 new cases reported bringing total to 7,884.
  • Tuesday May 26: 47 new cases reported bringing total to 7,931.
  • Wednesday May 27: 75 new cases reported bringing total to 8,006.
  • Thursday May 28: 97 new cases reported bringing total to 8,103.
  • Cases this week: 444.
