We have a lot to complain about here in New Jersey. High taxes, endless traffic, expensive gas (we all know who to thank for that one), just to name a few.

There's so much negativity about living in the Garden State that it's often easy to overlook some of the perks this state has to offer.

So let's stop focusing on what's negative for a moment and reflect on why we stay here in the first place. You may not realize it, but we're actually pretty spoiled to the luxuries we have at our fingertips.

Beautiful sunflower fields to visit in NJ 2021

Among reasons why the “Garden State” remains a fitting nickname for New Jersey — late summer means the arrival of sunflower season.

There are at least six fields, spanning the state. Some are in bloom as of early August, while others are planned to peak from late August to late September.
