Here in Ocean County, I'd say we got fairly lucky; we had some gale-force winds, and heavy rains and I know I briefly lost power. But all things considered, I think we weathered the storm pretty well.

Unfortunately for many people living and working in New Jersey, that's not the case and Fall Allergies wreak havoc on their daily lives. Accu-Weather has released their Allergy Report for the Fall of 2022, and sorry to say but it looks like it could be a rough one.

There's a mega-mansion in beautiful Mount Arlington Boro, NJ that's on the market and used to be owned by a beloved actress and comedian from the mid-1800s.

According to Only In Your State, there's a fantastic train ride that will take you through 14 train stations and show you all of the fantastic fall foliage that Jersey has to offer! The best part is that it's only a short drive from Ocean County and makes the perfect day trip.

I think the biggest plus too is that everyone kept their sea legs together, and we didn't have to break out the barf bags. All in all, as a non-fisher I can confidently say that this was one of the most fun days I've had this summer, and can't wait to make my way back out to fish on the Miss Barnegat Light.

When I say outdoor gym, by the way, I don't mean a few monkey bars and a pull-up bar. I mean a full-fledged outdoor training facility! I walked over to check it out and was surprised at the amount of stuff this place had available to the public.

Get ready to mark your calendars for another can't miss New Jersey event in Sussex County. I'm excited for this because it takes my wife and I's Taco Tuesday routine and takes it to a whole other level!

There's something about bratwurst, big beers, and polka music that just makes everything in the world seem right. This year, I plan on spending a weekend 'Oktober-festing' in one of the coolest little villages in New Jersey.

Any time there's an opportunity to write about some of the amazing things that happen in our skies, I can't help but jump on it. Over the summer, I've followed two super moons and a meteor shower all of which were phenomenal, however, I believe tonight's astrological happening will be second to none.

It's funny, I can remember the date I started my 'running journey' but can't for the life of me remember to get new running shoes when needed. That got me thinking; where in Ocean and Monmouth County is a good place to buy running shoes?

When I was a kid my dad and I would do something similar but with trains. We'd go to train tracks, train stations, and train yards and just watch the trains do their thing.
