Boston Market Howell New Jersey Closed

Chain restaurants have had a tough go lately.

Many staples that we thought were favorites have ended up closing out of nowhere.

Obviously, COVID and the pandemic took a toll on chain restaurants and locally owned and operated restaurants as well.

For example, Quaker Steak and Lube in Brick. This place was all the rage when it opened.

There were some who thought that this place may actually give Buffalo Wild Wings a run for its money.

Obviously, we saw whose wings were superior.

Chevy's Fresh Mex is another example. The list goes on and on.

Another chain eatery that has been closing up shop in the area lately is Boston Market.

Remember when they opened their location in Brick? It was a big deal.

That is where I became a fan of their mac and cheese. Still awesome by the way.

Boston Markets used to be all over Monmouth, Ocean, and New Jersey.

Now there are only two left in the area. One in Monmouth, the Shrewsbury location, and the other in Ocean in Toms River on Route 37.

You may be thinking that there's one location that I missed.

The guru of all things opening and sadly closing David P. Willis from APP is reporting that there is an eviction sign on the window of the Boston Market in the Aldrich Plaza in Howell.

Eviction is usually never good, but in this case, it may be because it's possible that the store isn't closing and that it just needs a new home.

Boston Market spoke to APP and said:

We are aware of the situation at our Howell, NJ location and are actively working with our landlord on a resolution so Boston Market can continue serving the community.
