Christmas is a time of giving, and there’s no better way to give than to support the non-profit charities in the community that do so much for those in need.

The Toms River Elks is hosting a Festival of Trees on Friday, December 18th and there will be dozens of spectacular Christmas trees put on display by various non-profit charities in the community. Click here to check out all the awesome trees from last year

Stop in at the Toms River Elks Lodge on December 18th from 5 PM to 11 PM to enjoy their annual Festival of Trees. Dozens of non-profit charities and local agencies have Christmas Trees on display and you can make a small donation to your favorite charity and help them win cash prizes of over $5,000 in donations from the Elks. There will be live performances from the Garden State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ocean County College Jazz Ensemble and a First Assembly Church Choir. Snacks and hot beverages will be provided and there is no charge for admission. Don't forget to look for my favorite tree - Ocean of Love - when you get there. This is another great event presented by the great organization of the Elks. For more information, contact George Coyne at 908-489-0081

Vote for you favorite tree by making a donation.  Every dollar will go directly to that organization and the Toms River Elks will also be donating thousands of dollars to the various organizations.

The event is open to the public beginning at 5 PM at the lodge, which is located at the corners of Washington Street and Clifton Avenue in Toms River.

The Elks motto is “Elks Care.  Elks Share”, and this is another example of the great work that they do in the community to help others.
