The historic carousel at Casino Pier will be auctioned off unless enough of us step up to help save the iconic shore attraction.

According to nj.com:

The 104-year-old carousel – which was built in 1910 and relocated from Burlington County to Seaside Heights in 1932 - escaped Hurricane Sandy and then a massive boardwalk fire unscathed. But now it is facing the possibility of being dismantled and auctioned off in parts.

Yes, it has survived many a storm and disaster, but this new storm of controversy could prove the one that takes it down.
