World’s Biggest (Tomato) Food Fight [Video]

Boss of the Sauce is one week away, and it reminded me of this yearly event that  happens in Spain. According to Wikipedia:

La Tomatina (Spanish pronunciation: [la tomaˈtina]) is a festival that is held in the Valencian town of Buñol, a town located 30 km from the Mediterranean, in which participants throw tomatoes and get involved in this tomato fight purely for fun. It is held on the last Wednesday of August, during the week of festivities of Buñol.

That's right! Just one week away.

The restaurants are getting ready! Jenkinson's is getting ready! What about you??? You getting ready?

We need you to show up at Jenks on Tuesday April 22nd with an empty belly and help vote on who will be crowned "Boss of the Sauce"

If you have never been to Boss of the Sauce, you’re missing out. It’s simple…Join us at Jenkinson’s on April 22st. There will be more than 20 restaurants on hand for you to sample their food and, most importantly, weigh in on their red-based tomato sauce.

Last year, Chef Mike’s ABG won Judges Choice, and Nino’s Coal Fired Pizza was the big winner in the People’s Choice category.

Who will win this year?? We will find out April 22st.
