Those of us who are diehard classic rock fans have a lot to look forward to in the new year.

On tap for 2014?

New studio albums from Robert Plant, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, U2 and more, according to ultimateclassicrock.com.

And most exciting of all, Jimmy Page is finally making good on his word that he would offer up the entire Zeppelin catalog, with a box-set release of each album, including previously unreleased studio music and live songs.

And these Zeppelin remasters are not your run-of-the-mill reissues.

In November, Jimmy Page told Blabbermouth.net:

"There's different versions. Say, for example, there's 'Since I've Been Loving You' — there's an incredible version of that which is totally different, it's really raw in its approach, it's quite dramatic, it's cool....Each disc will give a really intimate picture of the group. That's the idea that I've had with it and I think it's successful."

Also expect new releases from Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Paul Rodgers and many others.
