He is a man shrouded in secrecy. He is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. He is the new voice of 105.7 The Hawk!

Faithful listeners will have undoubtedly noticed in the past several weeks that The Hawk has a new voice for our station identifiers. The question now... who is this mysterious man? To be honest, we have no clue! But we've got a few guesses.

Don LaFontaine

One of Hollywood's most recognizable voices is that of Don LaFontaine, who provides the narration for pretty much every movie trailer ever. While it seems unlikely that such a high profile voice would do spots for a classic rock radio station at the Jersey Shore, our guy's throaty baritone seems remarkably similar to LaFontaine. Maybe he's a fan!

Sam Elliott

If there was one current actor who can define manliness in cinema, it's definitely Sam Elliott. Perpetually cast as the cowboy, rancher or similar tough guy, he's known for his role as The Stranger in The Big Lebowski and Wade Garrett in Road House among others. Since we all know that The Hawk is the preferred radio station of the baddest dudes in New Jersey, Sam Elliott doing our vocal work doesn't seem that far off.

Kiefer Sutherland

Since getting his start in 1986's Stand By Me, Kiefer Sutherland has made a career in playing some pretty bad guys, whether he was a bloodsucking vampire in The Lost Boys or a mean-spirited hillbilly in A Time to Kill. His career saw resurgence when he fought terrorists as Agent Jack Bauer on 24. The voice seems right. Who knows?

Michael Winslow

You can't have a discussion about distinctive voices without including the man of 10,000 sound effects, Michael Winslow. Best known for his role as Larvelle "Motor Mouth" Jones in the Police Academy films, Winslow is a man of amazing vocal prowess who is as likely as anyone to be the voice of The Hawk.
