Where to Find New Jersey County Fairs 2012

It’s fair season in New Jersey with 4-H organizations hosting their annual fairs between now and the end of the summer. Find out when the fair is coming to your county with this list of NJ county fairs.

august 3-12 sussex county fair

The Sussex County Fair runs from August 3 to August 12, 2012. Fairgrounds are located at 37 Plains Road in Augusta, NJ 07822.

Admission tickets purchased at the gate will cost $12 for adults, $6 for children 6 to 12, and kids under 6 are free. Senior citizens 60 and over pay $9 and tickets purchased after 8:30 p.m. are $8 for adults. Discounted prices are offered for tickets purchased in advance, for residents, for military veterans, ect. August 4 Bergen County Fair

The Bergen County and Master Gardner Fair will be held August 4, 2012. Fairgrounds are at Van Saun County Park in Paramus, NJ and open at 10 a.m. and end at 6 p.m.

August 6-12 Middlesex County Fair

The Middlesex County Fair runs from August 6 to 12, 2012. Fairgrounds are located at 655 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

Be sure to check out Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations, stop by to meet the animals at the livestock tent and see the East Brunswick Step Team perform. See a full list of events, times here. Look for NJ101.5′s big yellow van and the prize team at the fair August 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and older, $1 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under age 2 are free. Ride tickets must be purchased separately and one ticket is 75 cents. A book of 28 tickets can be purchased for $20.

August 7-10 Salem County Fair

The Salem County Fair will be held from August 7 to August 10, 2012. The Salem County Fairgrounds are located at 735 Harding Highway in Woodstown, NJ.

Admission is free but parking will cost you $5 per vehicle and is good for all 4 days.

August 8-10 Somerset County Fair

The Somerset County Fair runs from August 8 to August 10, 2012. Fairgrounds are located at North Branch Park off Millton Road in Bridgewater, NJ.

This fair has no carnival rides but there are still dog, horse and livestock shows, hay rides and a petting zoo area. Look for NJ101.5′s big yellow van and the prize team at the fair August 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

There is no charge for admission or parking.

Free shuttle buses will run from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. each day from the fairgrounds to the Raritan Valley Community College off Route 28, North Branch.

August 9-11 Atlantic County Fair

The Atlantic County Fair runs from August 9 to 11, 2012. Fairgrounds are located on the David C.Wood 4-H Center and Fairgrounds at 6210 Route 50 in South Egg Harbor.
