New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has gone "Text Silent"

Most of all the talk this Jets off season has been about Ryan Fitzpatrick holding out for more money.

The Jets offered Fitzpatrick a three-year contract worth $12 million in the first year, then receive $6 million for the two remaining years. With bonuses, the deal could be worth as much as $36 million -- with $15 million guaranteed.

In a nutshell, Fitzpatrick doesn't like it, and now he has gone silent. Teammate Brandon Marshall is worried. On a recent podcast with Michael Rappaport, Marshall said:

To be honest, me and Fitz talk every day, all the time, but I texted him the last two weeks, three times, and there’s [been] no response,” “The only thing that he can do to make this right is to say he was on vacation, [he] was out of the country. It’s not like him. It’s scaring me right now. It’s scaring me that my guy hasn’t texted me back.”

To make matters worse, Jets training camp opens in a little over a week, with their first preseason game on Aug 11 vs the Jacksonville Jaguars
