What’s Your Best Jersey Shore Weekend?
April 16, 2012 8:18 PM I took advantage of the great weather this weekend and hit some great Jersey Shore spots before they got overwhelmed with tourists. What are you favorite places to go at the Shore?
My girlfriend and I had a lovely weekend, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Living in Brick makes it easy to hit a bunch of different places up and down the coast, lots of different options.
Saturday night we went simple, just headed due east and ended up on the Point Pleasant boardwalk. More people were out than we expected, because there was a bit of a chill coming off the ocean, but still nice to walk around without bumping into a thousand other people. My girlfriend attempted (unsuccessfully) to win an iPad3 from a crane game.
Sunday we took the trip out to LBI. It was absolutely gorgeous out, and even being right on the ocean it was still nice. Most of the island was still closed, a lot of the places haven’t opened for the summer yet, but we were still able to wander around, stop in a few shops, and get in a game of mini-golf.
