There is nothing like going to Wrigley Field in Chicago for a day game of baseball. Before 1988 there were no lights at Wrigley Field and all of the Cubs home games were played during the daytime.

Growing up in Chicago, I was always in awe of walking up the ramp to my seats from the concourse and seeing the ivy on the outfield wall. It always felt like I was seeing it for the first time.

The scoreboard is still hand operated. The only other baseball stadium to still do that is Fenway Park in Boston.

Watching the New York Mets play a day game today brings back so many memories of watching baseball there as a kid.
