We're halfway through September and it really feels like mid-fall already, so you know the gorgeous fall colors are on the way and even crisper, chillier temps are ahead, but in case you were wondering what might bring warm weather again, here's the word about 'Indian Summer'.

According to almanac.com, it's not just warm, the atmosphere during Indian summer is hazy or smoky, there is no wind, and the nights are clear and chilly.

The time of occurrence is important: The warm days must follow a spell of cold weather or a good hard frost.

We've got a ways to go before we possibly see Indian Summer (although with the cooler summer and now the early fall feel, you never know), but I hope we have one, since I'm a summer kind of girl.

Do you look forward to Indian Summer?
