It's been a little over a week since the Offshore Powerboat Race took place in Point Pleasant where racer David Raabe lost his life when the Smith Bros. boat collided with "Repeat Offender" instantly killing Raabe who was controlling the throttles, and severely injuring the driver James "JP" Byrne.

The occupants of the Smith Brothers boat, brothers Rich and Pete Smith, were thrown from their boat but were rescued and refused medical attention.

The Smith Brothers boat sank immediately from the accident and was located in the Atlantic Ocean over the last few days, and recovered today and brought back to the docks in Point Pleasant.

Thank you to Barnegat Bay Island,NJ for letting me post this video. Unfortunately, the video ended when the battery died on their phone before the boat was completely lifted out of the water
