...well, at least to the top of New Jersey.

This weekend Mrs. V and I went for a mini-vacation, which included heading up to High Point State Park.

The highest point in the entire state is 1,802 feet above sea level. For reference, I live in Lakewood, which is about 66 feet above sea level. Toms River, home of the Hawk's Nest, is about 26 feet.

I also made the climb to the top of the Monument, a total of 291 steps.

These pics show off areas of three states, NJ, NY & PA.  As much as I love living at the Shore, it's great to get away for a while and check out some of the other gorgeous areas in this state.
