Varacchi Invades The BlueClaws Booth

Saturday night was Irish Heritage Night at FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood Blueclaws, and it was an even more special night because I got to be the "Special Guest" PA Announcer!

It was an absolutely gorgeous night for a game, and sitting up in the press box provides a fantastic view.

I got to watch Felix Paulino throw five innings of no-hit ball, although in the end he went home with a loss due to five(!) errors from the Claws. I've done the PA twice before, and this is the first time the Claws lost the game - I guess my run as "good luck charm" is sadly over.

Big thanks to Greg from the BlueClaws for letting me do this, and big thanks to Kirsten and the entire production team for letting me invade their booth for a night, and making me feel right at home.
