A school in the Pacific Northwest has decided that twerking is not welcomed.

Washington State's Lacey's River Ridge High School is now making students and parents sign a contract promising that they won't do any dancing that looks like they're having sex at any school sanctioned event.

According to mynorthwest.com, the contract prohibits laying on the ground/floor, bending over 45 degrees while dancing, and lap dancing.

I wonder if schools had the same reaction back in the day when no doubt Elvis Presley's moves were copied by students at school dances.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Should twerking be banned or should students be allowed free expression?

P.S. In case you missed it, check out our own Andy Chase caught on video twerking last week at the Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon!
