This week, [Top 5 Tuesday] looks at my 5 favorite albums.  It was an incredibly hard task to narrow down countless perfect albums to just five, but that's the name of the game. These are mine, what are yours?

Black Sabbath "Black Sabbath"

The perfect metal album. Heavy, sludgy, dark, dreary. The opening effects with the rain and church bells, then it smacks you right in the face with the huge power chords.

The Rollings Stones "Let It Bleed"

It's really hard to narrow down my favorite Stones album, but for me, track-for-track pound-for-pound, this one is my choice.

Meatloaf "Bat out of Hell"

I'm pretty much the only person left at the Hawk who LOVES this album, and I'm proud of it! Mock me if you must, but I stand by this as one of the greatest albums ever, and it will always stay near the top for me.

Led Zeppelin I

Zep is one of my favorite bands, so again it was hard to pick which album I liked most. After plenty of consideration, I'm going with their debut. (I couldn't find the full first album on YouTube, so here's an epic live show from them, enjoy!)

U2 "The Joshua Tree"

If you know anything about me, this was the least surprising choice of all. U2 is my favorite band ever, and I truly believe that "The Joshua Tree" is flawless from top to bottom. (again, YouTube failed me, here's more live stuff!)
