I would have done this last week, but I wanted to give Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers a chance to make the list.  These are my [Top5], what are yours?

5 - Bruno Mars & the Red Hot Chili Peppers

Hey, whether or not you dig Bruno's sound, you gotta admit he put on a killer show. It was fun, it was flashy, the band was tight, and the Peppers nailed their guest spot as well (yes, I've heard the rumors that their guitar and bass weren't even plugged in, and it's a bit disappointing that the Peppers went that way, but I understand why they might have done it...get over it).

4 - The Rolling Stones

They fall low on the list due to a lame set-list. "Start Me Up" was an obvious choice, but inserting "Rough Justice" was weak and ending with "Satisfaction" was boring.

3 - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Petty was one of the most fun concerts I've been to, and he brought that fun to the Halftime Show.

2 - Prince

Similar to Bruno Mars, he may not appeal to everyone's taste...but he absolutely destroyed it during his performance.

[Prince is kind of a jerk, and doesn't allow his performance on YouTube, so here's a video of Dave Grohl talking about Prince]

1 - U2

Yes I know I put U2 at the top of another [Top5] list...but I continue to feel like it's justified. I remember a lot of people complaining that an Irish band was performing in a tribute to the victims of 9/11, but there are few bands that can carry the emotion of U2 to a world-wide audience. Best Ever.
