This past weekend, April 27th, The "Space Ace" guitarist Ace Frehley turned 62 years young. Ace who was best known as the lead guitarist of Kiss from their inception in 1973 until 1982, also embarked on a very successful solo career as well.

Frehley's guitar work was an integral part of the sound of Kiss but he also held his own as his role in the band expanded to vocals as well. The "Spaceman" was by far the anchor to the classic sound as the band evolved over the years.
