First, here's wishing a very happy birthday to Tony Iommi, born on February 19, 1948 in Birmingham, England.

It doesn't look like a follow-up to Black Sabbath's album, "13" is in sight anytime soon.

When they released "13" last June, it shot to the top of the UK charts, their first number one album in nearly 43 years.

According to nme.com, Tony puts it this way while discussing the recent grammy award for Best Metal Performance the band received:

"[There was] plenty of interest in the album still and endless questions about what we’re doing next. Well, it's shows in the US, Canada and Europe, so far too busy with that to be thinking about more recording."

One of those shows will be at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on March 31st.

By the way, Tony expects to finish up treatment for lymphoma later this year.
